Another man has said he was left “uncomfortable at best, traumatized at worst" after waking up with Spacey lying on him and his arms wrapped around him. The man, who was a budding actor aged 17 at the time, told the BBC that it became clear Spacey was interested in "a way I wasn't".

The man, who did not give his name, says he was a teenager when the incident took place in 1985. He had been invited to stay at Spacey’s New York home and the actor asked him to share his bed. He declined and slept on the sofa, but woke up to find Spacey’s head on his stomach and his arms wrapped around him.

A third man, U.S. filmmaker Tony Montana, told Radar Online he suffered from PTSD for six months after Spacey allegedly grabbed his crotch in a Los Angeles bar in 2003.

He alleges that a drunk Spacey grabbed his groin at Los Angeles bar the Coronet in 2003.

Popular intellectuals I like: Chomsky, Taleb and Paglia.

I really like Taleb! I read Black Swan in college and loved it. Guy's got a chip on his shoulder but he makes excellent points. I am less enamoured with Chomsky, though I can respect his contributions outside of politics in the field of language. I have read some of Chomsky's politics stuff and he seems like an ideologue. The same reason I'm not thrilled with Glenn Beck or Bill Oreilly's writings. Don't know about Paglia, will check him out! If you like Taleb, you should check out John N. Gray. He is a british philosopher (not the Women are from Mars guy). My favorite living writer. Completely changed my worldview, and always challenges me, even when I disagree with him. I will PM you some links. You will probably enjoy his stuff! Really cool guy.Be warned, he's not a sunny optimist. He writes book reviews for the New Statesmen. Even if you don't read the books he reviews, he always has interesting insights. Every single book he has written is also worth checking out. I will find some good articles and send them to you. I realize this is unsolicited on your part, so if you are bored with it don't read them. But I do think you will like some of his stuff.

Netflix just drop Kevin Spacey, 100%:

Netflix, one of the studios behind "House of Cards," is officially severing ties with the show's star and executive producer Kevin Spacey, the streaming service announced late Friday night.

The company is also no longer moving forward with "Gore," a film Spacey was set to star in.

"Netflix will not be involved with any further production of 'House of Cards' that includes Kevin Spacey," a Netflix spokesperson said in a statement.

The statement continued, "We will continue to work with MRC [Media Rights Capital] during this hiatus time to evaluate our path forward as it relates to the show. We have also decided we will not be moving forward with the release of the film 'Gore,' which was in post-production, starring and produced by Kevin Spacey."
