Tom Brady can't read defenses well, only the cheating explains his ability to do that.

Plus, he's got a network of spies to tell him when blitzes are coming so he can check to run or dump off.

C'mon Laugh, you knowwwwwwwwwww there's truth in that.
Ernie Adams is sending someone to your house right now to have you silenced.

Last year? the O-Line did a pretty good job of keeping Brady upright.

Sacks by year for Brady:

2016: 15 sacks
2015: 38 sacks
2014: 21 sacks
2013: 40 sacks
2012: 27 sacks
2011: 32 sacks
2010: 25 sacks
2009: 16 sacks
2008: :violence-shootself:
2007: 21 sacks

For Comparison:

Manning:

2015: 16 sacks
2014: 17 sacks
2013: 18 sacks
2012: 21 sacks
2011: Neck Bolt Replacement
2010: 16 sacks
2009: 10 sacks
2008: 14 sacks
2007: 21 sacks

No, Tannyhill has been the most sacked QB in the league during every year but one of his career.

Don't compare two QBs that have had good lines. Damn Kaz. There's a far cry from always having a Top 5 or Top 10 line to scraping the bottom of the league at 32.

Tom Brady would fair no better if his line was consistently ranked 25 - 32.

2001: O-Line Ranked 26th for Pass Protection based on highest Sack Rate % (which gives sacks (plus intentional grounding penalties) per pass attempt adjusted for down, distance, and opponent) and Brady still wins a SB.

After that the organization gets the brilliant idea of "Hmmm, this guy is pretty good. Maybe we try to protect him?" And this was right around the time that Scarnecchia took over as O-Line coach. And from then on, the O-Line generally hovers around 10th in the league.

If Brady continued to have a dogshit O-Line for his entire career? Maybe things would have been different and he'd be Andrew Luck before Andrew Luck was Andrew Luck in Indy. But the fact is, Brady showed he could perform, got himself a capable O-Line in front of him and was allowed to develop as a good NFL QB. When the O-Line was sub-par, Brady stepped up and still put up numbers in spite of that.

And the reason I used Manning as a comparison:

Btw, I get that you're depressed that the 'phins are in the crapper, but Tannehill is not the 'most sacked QB' in the league.

Tannehill's been in the league 2012-2016, correct?

Most Sacked QBs in the League:
2012: Rodgers (51, Tannehill had 35); 2013: Tannehill (58, ok 1 for him); 2014: Bortles (55, Tannehill 46); Bortles again (51, Tannehill 45); 2016 Tyrod Taylor (42, Tannehill 26).

Being a 'phins fan is making you a bit hyperbolic Carlus. Ernie already showed you the Patriot way... give in to the dark side.

 Not butt hurt, just havin fun boys. This is what sports are for, shit talking :Go Team

As I've said before. I'm just adding some sanity to the latent homosexual bromance ESPN and many others have with Brady.

BTW, by your own stats I counted like 205 Sacks, that's over 40 sacks a year over 5 years  .
Over the same period Brady was averaging 25, Brady only had 40 sacks one time, in 2013. Their defense gave up only 18 pts a game that year and they only managed to beat the hapless Colts in Foxburro in the playoffs.

Speaking of Defenses. The Pats year in and year out only give up about 20 points a game, the Phins North of 28.

You give any team a defense that gives up 18 pts a game and they are going to be successful. That would have made the 2016 Browns competitive.

True story. The Browns would still find a way to lose though.

I think we all can agree; doesn't matter who the Browns have, they would find new and creative ways to shit the bed. I always used to ask my Grandfather how the Browns were doing. It usually started with a groan and ended with, "God, we suck."

Speaking of which, apparently over 20% of the Browns cap space is being spent on the O-Line :derp:

That's actually the first thing I would do, when building a winning team. Football is won and lost on the line.

So what do Brady and Bundchen eat? From Campbell:

"So 80 percent of what they eat is vegetables. the freshest vegetables. If it's not organic, I don't use it. And whole grains: brown rice, quinoa, millet, beans. The other 20 percent is lean meats: grass-fed organic steak, duck every now and then, and chicken. As for fish, I mostly cook wild salmon."

OK, that doesn't sound too crazy. Maybe more telling is what Brady doesn't eat:

"No white sugar. No white flour. No MSG. I'll use raw olive oil, but I never cook with olive oil. I only cook with coconut oil. Fats like canola oil turn into trans fats. ... I use Himalayan pink salt as the sodium. I never use iodized salt.

"[Brady] doesn't eat nightshades, because they're not anti-inflammatory. So no tomatoes, peppers, mushrooms, or eggplants. Tomatoes trickle in every now and then, but just maybe once a month. I'm very cautious about tomatoes. They cause inflammation.

"What else? No coffee. No caffeine. No fungus. No dairy."

I, um, OK. (*pours out coffee, empties refrigerator*)

And how about a cheat day? What does Campbell cook for Brady and Bundchen when they just want to, you know, relax? Have some good, old-fashioned comfort food? Campbell said:

"I've just did this quinoa dish with wilted greens. I use kale or Swiss chard or beet greens. I add garlic, toasted in coconut oil. And then some toasted almonds, or this cashew sauce with lime curry, lemongrass, and a little bit of ginger. That's just comfort food for them."

Brady has said he wants to play football well into his 40s. With a diet this scrupulously healthy, he might just play longer than that, too.
