I'd rather be stranded alone too, but that doesn't mean shit. In the grand scheme of things you need people to make you famous, being famous in your mind is great, but if you want your accolades noted by all others, you need to stop pounding your chest and saying "I'm the best," instead, do something to show you are.Martin Hash wrote:I'm really different from you guys: I'd want to be stranded somewhere with me, not Michael Jordan, Bono, or Mother Teressa.
In my circle of people (and I know quite a few high rollers in my area) No one has ever heard of Martin Hash, your Linkedin Profile shows very little too. You were easy to find. Honestly, I believe that ego gets people far enough to get their foot in the door, an ability to perform does the rest.
I have met some of the most educated people out there. I have worked with Jesuits that have multiple doctorates (as in more than three) in science and religious studies. I've broken bread with them, had lunch with them, and designed their networks with them. They didn't laud their doctorates over me, or any others that were in the room.
You need to choose Martin, either be a person that people want to like to help you get you famous, or choose to be a raging dick about it and say "I am better than you all and make me feel important!"
So far the 2nd one is how you seem to be coming across.
I'd be happy to help you become famous, but I'm not going to do it until the raging asshole personality dies down. I don't help assholes; I help people.
