I won't ruin it for you if you haven't seen it, but if you have I'd like to discuss, because I think you are the only person on this board who watches that show.

If you want a real SJW GOT Character, Olenna Tyrrell. Now I like her but think about this. Always using the men in her life as pawns so much so that one became the ultimate symbol for GOT fagdom, now a perpetual victim, her family all burned up and blown up by wildfire, she teams up with the series Islamist, "children of the sand." Or Sansa Stark, rape victim and overstepped by a patriarchy and a jealous little 10 year old that just wants Jon Snow to be her daddy.

Season 1 was amazing, couldnt get into 2. This srason with McGregor playing multiple parts I might have to give it a try.

I'm not opposed to strong women characters. In fact, I think thats one thing that GoT and Mad Men do better than just about any other show. They make compelling female characters and explore them. I never thought about Sansa or Olenna that way, but you have a point. I think many of Olenna's machinations were pretty cool. Sansa is fairly annoying, and Arya's storyline has gotten more and more ridiculous, though she is still a good character overall. In the books isn't Catelyn supposed to come back as a zombie queen? That might have been to complicated to put in the show, and it might have made it crappier, but I always thought that was interesting they left it out. I've never read the books so I'm not really an authority on this stuff.

The black guy on season 2 was great. He was very similar to Billy Bob Thornton on season 1. Great character imo. Season 3 is only two eps in so you haven't missed much yet.

Have you read his book Radical Son? Its a pretty great memoir from the right.

The best biography of all time is of course Will by G Gordon Libby, who is also a fascinating conservative. I cannot recommend either book enough. Seriously, you could read Will in less than a day. Its a fucking great read.
