Much of California is conservative. Orange county is solidly conservative. Interior California is balls out consevative, like, nukedog conservative. I have said multiple times, I am a Fiscal Conservative, and I am a true Liberal when it comes to Social situations... I believe that people working together make a better world, but I also believe that if someone wants to do it, they ask for help, not demand it out of other people's pocketbooks.

I believe that as long as whatever you wish to do doesn't affect other people, go for it... once it goes beyond your personal circle, then it's a problem.

I believe that a village can raise a child, but that also means that children get punished by the neighbors for doing something stupid... the parents are the primary care takers of said child, the street are the guardians when out of sight of the parents, and the schools are there to teach, nothing more nothing less.

Want the schools to be a care center as well, don't take it out of my paycheck because you can't afford to raise your own child. I also believe that people who need welfare should be able to get it, but if you are on it, you loose freedoms such as the ability to do drugs, etc... testing should be mandatory, if you flunk it, you loose your assistance. The same with colleges, if a person want to better themselves, but can't afford to I believe we should have programs for anyone who wants to... it shouldn't matter on race, gender, etc... but the same limitation are required.

Want to take me on for any of those things, go for it, otherwise go take your Self-Righteous ass and learn some humility.

He might be referring to the 3/5 clause in the Constitution which states slaves only count as 3/5 of a person for determining how many Representatives a state got. The more people counted, the more power a state got in the Federal government.

Those slaves sure were lucky that their masters only got 3/5ths extra representation per slave in their state. The owners would've had an even further unfair representation in the federal government if the slaves were counted fully towards the population of those states.

I only agree on the social side of their stances, not the fiscal, so no... I wouldn't "fit right in"
