First, people who voted for Trump still voted for torture, the de facto evisceration of the second and the specific targeting of terrorist's families as a means of terror. I'll have to go find some more of the horrible things that he promised he would do, but people voted for him even though he said these things, and what these people are most upset about is his bombing Syria. Priorities eh? He could go all Bolton on some terrorist while televising it and they'd be cheering.
Two, I did take a stand. No matter what, I won't vote D or R. Period. Fuck both those parties. Even if Bernie had gottten the nomination I still would have voted third party. Would they have won this year? No, but if enough people keep adding their support to the third parties they'll have a fighting chance in the coming years. Maybe we can get some laws changed so we get away from the strangle hold that D and R have on this country.
