Would be a basis for a really cool short story where somebody discovers a forgotten arcade and in the middle of the fucking thing stands a Polybius machine.
I agree that is a great story idea, and there are lots of other riffs off of that theme. Ernie Cline probably won't write any of them, since he's been paid now, so we should do it.
Unfortunately, the pic I posted was of some archive image from the second link. It appears from the first link that the arcade that was just discovered was in good shape, but sans machines.
I don't think I saw a "TIme Out" arcade as a kid. In Memphis we had Aladdin's Castle.
