Yep, loaning money that will never be repaid to buy American goods from The 1%. The IE is what people are talking about when they say "corporate welfare," because this transfer money from taxpayers to The Rich.Fife wrote:Speaking of negatives . . .

My point is he hasn't done much of anything, yet, except flip flop on almost every position and look like he controls through chaos.Martin Hash wrote:I have to agree with Capps.
You give Trump a plus for involving us in the ME, while that's what Trumpers fault him for. Also, he simply adopted the Republican healthcare stance, ISP secrecy, and he's doing a Canadian pipeline without tolling the oil. (But nothing's happened yet on these so hold fire until you see the whites of their eyes.)
I didn't dislike him for his policies, per se, I dislike him because he talks out of his ass. You can't take him literally or seriously. I thought that negative was understood.
I don't like him any more or any less because he's done a 180. We'll see if the blue team starts cheering while the red team starts screaming bloody murder. It's totally popcorn time.
My main objection against Trump is the fact that he's Trump. Every day he proves to me that yes, he's still Trump. That's a negative. You guys are seriously putting his 10-minute history lesson with the Chinese president in the positive column? Dudes.. that was 100% sarcasm on my part. His complete lack of knowledge on the world stage is a negative, not a positive.

Trump is pro big business and wants more US jobs, subsidizing major exporters with cheap loans seems right up his alley. He's no libertarian.Martin Hash wrote:Yep, loaning money that will never be repaid to buy American goods from The 1%. He's an Aristocrat, we all agree on that: The Rich get richer significantly faster than the rest of us because they're so special.StCapps wrote:Trump is pro big business and wants more US jobs, subsidizing major exporters with cheap loans seems right up his alley. This is a negative shared by all politicians, Trump isn't special in this regard. Yawn.Kath wrote:I didn't dislike him for his policies, per se, I dislike him because he talks out of his ass. You can't take him literally or seriously. I thought that negative was understood.

The positives are even more minor. Seriously, learning health care is complicated is like "whose the big boy?" stuff.StCapps wrote: Those are some real minor negatives.

We voted for Trump, not because he was a good person, it's because we hoped he wasn't a lying politician... But he was.

Re: THE ERA OF TRUMP
Until you have real beefs with Trump you shouldn't be screeching about as if you do because you can't think of many positives. If there isn't much on either side of your pro-con ledger you shouldn't have strong views one way or the other.Kath wrote:The positives are even more minor.
