I said that Trump wouldn't put America First if it meant putting himself, his legacy or his family second. I also repeatedly referred to him as a New York Liberal who isn't some right wing extremists by a long shot. You just weren't paying attention.

Actually, you were claiming to be the Trump Whisperer and the knower of the secret meanings behind his blathering. That's what I recall.
Trump said X, but what he really meant was ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWYZ.
And you did that over and over and over and over again, to the point where you were probably right at least one time about each topic you Trumpsplained to us.

One of those whisperings was that Trump is New York Liberal who very often just tells the people what they want to hear. I was one of the folks telling people that he wouldn't put America First if it doing so would also fuck him over politically. Just because I also corrected you when you were wrong about Trump doesn't mean I'm his fanboy, as I've been telling you for over a year.

Eight years of data and you admit you found positives? We're < 100 days in, Carlus, and the man has now reversed most of his positions. So, did you support his positions then or do you support them now? It doesn't seem like you can support both of his positions on the same topic. Is Nato good or bad? Is Assad good or bad? Is China good or bad?
Do you know where Trump stands on these? Are you confident in your understanding of his positions? Are you sure he won't change his mind in three days?
See my text above. I blew it up for you.

I recall a lot of apologizing that his outrageous statements were just "opening offers." That's no really how it's panning out. Mexico is not paying for any wall, so if by "Mexico will pay for a huge wall" was Trump-Speak for "Americans are going to pay for a kinda-sorta wall," then yes, you were absolutely right. (But that wasn't your claim. You were solidly in Trump's camp and everyone knows it, so you can't claim otherwise, now.)
I'm on record, repeatedly, saying there will be no yuge wall paid for by Mexico. I said that over and over and over again.

I'm on record saying there won't be huge wall paid for by Mexico as well. I said that was an outrageous opening offer. He might get Mexico to pay for some of it, probably indirectly, but they certainly won't be paying for anywhere near all of it, nor will the wall likely be a big and beautiful as Trump imagined on the campaign trail. You seem to think everyone believed Trump's every word when it came to the wall, but that simply isn't true, especially on my end.

+1 Kath !
Hey, what thread were we talking in last month that I listed my pros and cons? It was the one you and Penner and on us for the 'echo chamber' I can recreate it, but I want to address all the points and not miss anything.

If that's the best you have against Trump, you should be way more neutral regarding him and constantly shitting on him less. Those are some real minor negatives.

I have to agree with Capps.
You give Trump a plus for involving us in the ME, while that's what Trumpers fault him for. Also, he simply adopted the Republican healthcare stance, ISP secrecy, and he's doing a Canadian pipeline without tolling the oil. (But nothing's happened yet on these so hold fire until see the whites of their eyes.)
