Round three:

It's time for battle. You're not a rich fag, but you're also not piss poor. You can choose from one of these three long guns. Which would you choose and why?

A Mossberg 500 with a tac-light

Well I'll go for a surplus M16A1 with the triangular stock, aesthetic, but If I have to take that piece of shit Norinco looking thing, then I'll go for the Mossie instead.

Well you said battle, so that's hunting people, for hunting people, I'd go with the M16 over that.

If I was going for a cheap sniper rifle, I'd go for a surplus Canadian Army C3, which is a militarized Parker-Hale M82.

I have a possibly cheaper sniper rifle in the next round but I'm not quite sure what a C3 is.

Edit: just looked up m82 and am not familiar with that at all.

I'd take the Remington, for purely aesthetic reasons.

Master Corporal Graham Ragsdale, PPCLI master sniper; 20 confirmed kills in the Shah-i-Kot, with a C3A1

Although, really I could just get a Parker-Hale 1200TX and put the C3 stock, mag, bipod, and scope on it, same thing, just even cheaper.

It's a beautiful gun. I had a pre ADL version in chestnut chambered for 30-06 with a 16" barrel. It was a tac driver at the range and I always got compliments on it. I didn't have any real use for it and it was one of the first guns I had to let go of unfortunately. It's beautiful though.
