this is what I thought back in the Cold War in the late 80s

in West Germany

when I first saw the new kit showing up

Abrams, Apache, F-16

just as a troop in the ranks, watching all this kit perform on exercise

I thought : if the Soviets actually come over the Trace ?

we are going to kick their asses

because of the jet engine, it's very quiet

but really the problem was that they had the far more advanced sensors and fire control

so they could see us, but we couldn't see them

same problem for the Russians
