If you buy beef it's a good time to buy, the price will be going up. One of the things that came out of Trumps first meeting with China is China is lifting the ban on US beef imports. The price will be going up.

It should correct itself, I would guess. Exporting beef to a half billion Chinese should give the beef producers a good bump.

Economically this is a good thing for the US. It will help bring a little more balance to trade with China, and once the Chinese (that can afford it) get a taste for Grade A beef there will be no going back. For average Americans with minimal income, it's going to hurt some. For producers it will be a nice bump. For me, My beef is eating and growing. Butcher in Februrary.
