I have some mixed feelings on this entire thing.

Primarily, this is good for us. Average Americans made a stand for something. It was a completely grassroots rebellion. No one had to tell them what was the right thing to do. They just did it.

Trump ripped the bandage off an infected wound. The wound got some antiseptic, but still needs care.

I feel kind of bad for the NFL for just one reason. The POTUS waded into there business.

Like I said, it's not just the statements, it's the associations that are going to get him fried. And the fact that he made political statements at the US Armies premier institution, and it's out on Social Media.

If you want some middle ground, they may be able to kick him out and make him pay back the $ 320,000 for his West Point education.

At this point businesses are the one's who have stepped fully onto the political battlefield. Used to be places like ESPN would bend over backwards to keep their customers happy and keep all the controversial shit off air. Same with Target. They are people just like us remember. They are subverting conservative thought on all levels of society. This conversation needs its own thread though. I plan on writing something about the consolidation of the economy and the power large corporations wield.
