Lets be honest, most of the Universities and Community Colleges around today are breeding ground for political suicide and stupidity... yes you may learn how to regurgitate things, but in reality, no chance in hell 90% of what they teach you in college today will prepare you for the real world...
I have an associates, and I got a job as a Director of Infrastructure because I have 20+ years of IT and technology experience... I replaced two people what had their Masters... and gave the IT department a bad reputation for not knowing what the hell they were doing...
In four months time have I not only fixed everything they screwed up, saved the company $2000/mo on continuous charges, I have also improved our network, security, and also put in place an archive system of 86TB, as well as a backup system for all computers the company owns... as well as a secure system for if people need to telecommute...
For my good job they gave me a brand new laptop for me to keep.
I can't say that every job is going to be like this, but realistically colleges and universities teach you everything but how to interact with people... as we have seen...
Nice work, sir.
I've got an Associates as well, and I'm always stunned at how hard HR departments cling to Bachelor Degree requirements. By that, I mean that a lot of automated filters cut out anyone that doesn't have it, before anyone looks at the application. I have roughly 5 classes left to get one, but it's un-possible now that Real Life has begun. The old paradigm has to fall at some point, but damn they are hanging on hard.
That said, I have an interview tomorrow for another 15% higher paying job, that supposedly needs a Bachelor's degree to write reports. So apparently, my career opportunities revolve around exactly how the HR manager manages their resume-catcher. So damn silly.

But, fact is, most people can't cut it in a proper STEM program. Yet we have fostered this attitude that everybody has a right to college, even when most people are not suitable for college. Universities want those student loan dollars, so they oblige by creating fake academic programs in the arts colleges. Because the arts colleges are dominated by marxists, those fake academic programs are going to be all marxism, churning out countless "graduates" who know nothing by marxist ideology, have no job prospects, and were taught that all their problems come from western civilization, and white men specifically.
And even then, because the marxists dominate so much of the university now, a STEM undergraduate student *still* has to replace potentially useful electives in his general elective requirements with marxist classes like gender studies. It's now required that undergrads get indoctrinated. Most STEM students just sit through it without opening their mouths, write whatever the purple-haired lesbian misanthrope wants them to regurgitate, and gets the fuck out of there so they can move on with their life. But despite all that, they still missed out on actually valuable educational opportunities, and they have to pay for this bullshit with interest.
Everyone has the right to go to college, but it doesn't mean we have to give it to them if they can't afford it... There is the difference that most people are missing.
STEM would be better if it was actually integrated into the education system instead of being just a class or two.

That's not what the word right means.
I have the right to bare arms, but if I can't afford them I can't get to do so...that being said, the definition of right has changed because of the liberal views...
right
N.
a moral or legal entitlement to have or obtain something or to act in a certain way.
Everyone has the ability to go to college, the term right has now been construed to include morality... so now with that being said, everyone has the right to go to college, not everyone can afford to... and we do not have the requirements to make it so either.

I have a right to bear arms; I don't have a right to guns. Do you see the difference?

Bingo... you are proving my point... everyone has a right to go to college, it doesn't mean they have the ability to do so.

STEM is a bit different.
My Mexican engineering professor speaking about a certain circuit technique and black boxes, "this is how we check the voltages to know if they opened the black box. /pause. Mexicans don't know anything."
I can't convey it in text. The guy is a riot.

Imagine the MSM if there was a video in 2012 of a tea party white man pulling a rifle on a black man for putting an Obama sticker on his vehicle.
Patriot nurse did a video on this. She seems like she's about to lose it.
