We have totally different meanings for bad ass. Jon did what he did to save mankind from the dead. Do you think that war in the North is winnable when you only have Lyanna Mormont types fighting the fight? He may not have dealt the final blow, but everything he did was to make that war winnable. Arya gets nowhere without Dany's group of soldiers getting dirty, first. Dany goes nowhere if Jon doesn't bend the knee. He's ultimately going to take her out. Will he be a bad ass then, or was he, the whole time, and you will agree once he does take her out?

You seem to switch out definitions willy-nilly. If dead men can't be a bad ass, then dead women shouldn't be allowed in that category, either; especially crowned super bad ass. Arya is no leader, so why does she qualify when Jon doesn't? A great leader knows the right moves to get the job done. Jon says, "fuck off, Dany," and BAM, the battle in the North is over before it starts.

One of the lamest turns the story took. There's no way Cersei is around to see season 8 without this monstrosity's complete devotion to killing her enemies. She's pretty weak without a strong man. She's evil, and smart politically, but not very bright, otherwise. Not even close to the bad ass Dr. Y thinks. She's a goner.

Was Qyburn in the books? He's the one who does all the freak experiments that made Zombie Gregor possible.
