Bottom line, the liberals way overplayed the Nazi card a long time ago, that's not going anywhere, because they already cried wolf about it for a year straight, so now actual Nazis well know that they can get away with shit, because playing the Nazi card now, is going to have no effect.

If anything, they've overplayed the Nazi card so much, that people on the Right are like, you know what? Here's some real Nazis for you, enjoy.

They may not like Nazis, but on the other hand, if the Nazis clubbed BLM/Antifa/#Resistance like baby seals, would they really fucking care at this point? It's so bitter now, I don't think they would.

I would submit, law and order has taken a back seat to partisan rage, law and order is now subjective to enforcing only against the opposition.

The stupidity of seeing everything, absolutely everything in the South as racist is so ignorant, disrespectful and outright stupid. If you have a goddam Civil War where nearly 300 000 on the Confederate side died, and these idiots in their stupid crusade go demolishing statues to those fallen.

These idiots don't realize that it's actual that respect that the North in the end showed, that reconciliation that happened in the late 19th Century that did heal the wounds. But these ignorant fuck who have their red glasses don't even think about it.

It's no wonder there's unrest, deciding things like that, on issues like this, inherently leads to trouble, 3-2 vote is no mandate to decide something like that, that's a recipe for all heck breaking loose.
Shit, you want more than 60/40 for a mandate?

We ain't gonna get nothin' done!
If you're going to decide an issue which has the potential to incite civil unrest, I think you seek a mandate beyond the vote of 5 people. 60/40 mandate would be more reasonable, if it was a state wide referendum, trying to pretend that this issue is at the level of a city council, is disengenous, obviously Confederate heritage is a bigger issue than just Charlottesville, and since all heck can break loose, might want to treat it that way.
Very American. If I have learned anything from these boards, people love republicanism when it gets the results they like, and they love direct democracy when it don't.

Leaving aside the seemingly arbitrary metric for deciding how much consensus is required for a mandate, the defenders of the generals effigy were standing against a legal order for removal. But I guess having a temper tantrum means we need to change the rules to coddle Confederate feelings. The south was supposed to be their safe space after all.

Before we get back into Zona Virginy, keep in mind the righties were bringing in ringers too, and black folks and lefties go back a minute in God's own South.

I don't how many contortions are typically required to make sure the bolsheviks are always in the wrong, but I expect there has to be an upper limit.
HAIL!

Her needs America so they won't just take his shit away like in some pussy non gun totting countries can happen.

The Durham Police Department said in a statement that it had made no arrests because the episode had occurred on county property, which is under the jurisdiction of the Durham County Sheriff’s Office. Members of the sheriff’s office filmed the protest as the statue came down, The News & Observer reported, but the office did not respond to a request for comment on Monday night, and it was not clear whether its officers had made any arrests.

Gov. Roy Cooper, a Democrat, wrote on Twitter, “The racism and deadly violence in Charlottesville is unacceptable, but there is a better way to remove these monuments.”

A "better way"? Is that another way of saying, "a lawful way"? When the people paid to enforce the law instead stand by and video the crime, what will happen?

They really have no idea what they are doing. Not a fucking clue, and there's no way to reason with them or convince them to look at the damage they are doing, especially to their own interests.

Then again, maybe they do. The parallels to ISIS are glaring. It's no wonder they constantly carry watter for jihadis. Birds of a feather.

The Confederate monuments that still exist in the US
The deadly rally in Charlottesville started when a group of white nationalists descended on the city to protest its decision to remove Confederate relics from public spaces, such as a statue of Gen. Robert E. Lee.

There are about 1,500 Confederate memorials and symbols in public spaces across the US, the Southern Poverty Law center estimates.
Now, what ever could CNN be up to? Surely, they can't be advocating for people go find the rest of these and remove them...

Get fucked, CNN.

Not really tho, the realpolitik was; which American aristocracy would control the exploitation of the continent, the planting aristocracy in Dixie, or the banking aristocracy in Manhattan. The banking aristocracy won.
People who think the civil war was about slavery shouldn't be allowed to vote. They aren't qualified.
I could agree with that.
