Yawn. If anything it's Putin who has the bromance with Trump, not the other way around. Putin praised Trump before Trump praised Putin, he's just returning the favor to encourage more praise from world leaders in the future. If you are nice to Trump he rewards you, if you are mean to him he'll counterpunch the shit out of you, it's that simple.

Not a bromance, the media just wants to make it one because that's a more interesting story. Trump is just using the carrot and stick strategy, if Putin starts bashing him then he'll piss on him from a very great height but as long as Putin is going to say nice things about Trump he isn't about to punish him for that the way your average GOP politician would.

Trump can take a compliment from Putin, Republicucks and Demohacks can't and like to political grandstand about that as if they are morally superior because of it, that shouldn't be a knock on Trump.

That was actually a misinterpretation. Putin was using a term that in Russian means basically "a colorful character," that was misinterpreted to mean something like "bright guy." I forget the exact terminology but it was a very guarded response in reality. It's on YouTube.

Well like I said, the Bromance is fake news. There is nothing special about the amount of praise Trump has given Putin or vice versa. Not hating on Russia as much as the neocons simply doesn't mean Putin is your bff, but ssu doesn't get that.

Here's the level of delusion you'd have to get to to be as loony as loony tunes here.

Know for years that the NSA is collecting information on every American by default. Know that they keep records of every phone call made, every email sent, and every text message. Know that they are collecting this information on foreigners as well, to include leaders of foreign nations. Know that they are colluding with tech companies both in hardware and software to leave holes for them to have direct access to devices and programs. Know that this behavior has been going on for years, and continues to happen.

Know that an investigation was opened into Trump almost a year ago.

Knowing that every American is subject to spying from the NSA and other agencies, be told that the agencies that spy on everyone by default were not spying on the person they were investigating for ties to foreign governments. Once you've gotten to the point where you can convince yourself that the spying actually stopped once an investigation was opened, that we spy on everyone accept the people we're actually investigating, once you believe that you can make yourself believe anything.

This was basically the same situation as with Farkas’ comments and the Times’ article from earlier this month. The comments do nothing whatsoever to confirm direct surveillance against Trump—instead describing what some administration officials intended to do with intelligence gathered from Russians—but Hannity and others in conservative media are claiming it proves Trump’s claims anyway.

So let's see here, there is no evidence of Obama and/or his administration illegally wiretapping/spying on Trump. Although, everyone does claim that some people from Trump's campaign team did speak to some other people, who were tied to the Russian government, and that they got them on tape talking. Okay, so it's like going to a mob boss to talk to them about something but the FBI also is listening in on you. Does it mean that Trump truly did conspire with Russia to hack the emails and have them being released to the public- not really per se but it still does look like that Obama didn't do anything illegal here? I mean not even Trump's own political party believes these claims. This is a hill you yinz are dying here, all alone on.
