So a bunch of Neo-Marxists can black ball you into centrally planned redistribution by majoritarian force? So much for Liberty Nation, I guess.
Liberty Nation will be gone before I am.
Pretty sure Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness includes autonomy from mobs of torches and pitchforks coming to take your shit cause "Bangladesh is poorer than America".
We'll be Canada.

You’re apparently unaware of the proposed addendum:
Life and the pursuit of happiness, liberty up to the first million dollars.

The aristocracy purchased Civil Rights, but they couldn’t get Hillary elected?

I dunno man, lots of questions about all that.
I guess it's my math background. I see the inexorable trend for wealth accumulation, the hollowing out of The Middle Class, who used to vote for the Royalists, and the prediction seems sound. R U thinking things aren't going that way, or that people don't care?

You'd have less redistribution under the Canadian system, top marginal income tax rate is 39%, corporate tax rate is 18%, capital gains is exempt on the first 50% of earnings.

Income taxes are basically the same in Canada, corporate taxes are lower, capital gains are better protected, the main difference in Canada is that we have higher consumption taxes, value added rather than confiscatory.

Nah, it’s collectivists who reward “firsts”, or other arbitrary identifiers.

A hurricane hits Florida. A capitalist raises gas prices to reflect increased demand (price gouging, collectivists would say).
Result - people buy the minimum amount of fuel they need to vacate the area. Maximum number of people use available fuel in most efficient manner due to self rationing.

A collectivist declares that prices remain fixed “for the poor”. Result - first people to the pump fill their tanks and take whatever extra they might need “just in case”. People who didn’t arrive first get none. Poor or rich, everyone not at the front of the line is screwed.
