Are you fucking kidding me? How Disney has protected thier franchise classics with thier vault system is ripe for a streaming service. You'll have baby boomer grandparents and millenial parents throwing money at them to share Peter pan or Cinderella at their kids. And also Disney channel shows are all over Netflix kids, they can take that stuff too.

No -

The millenial parent will buy the dvd/blue ray and burn it to a Plex server so that generations to come will have it for free.....

And the DIsney channel is complete dribble now....it survives only because it gets packaged....I don't think it will make it when true a-la cate comes.
Go ahead and try to get those movies now. Some of those movies have not even been released on DVD yet. Disney will be fine and could really put the screws to Netflix.

My mom had all of the classics on VHS. We have them all on DVD. Pretty much any parent is going to have a hard copy of their stuff, because you can't be searching through menus and services with a screaming toddler.

Whatever's dude....I guarantee you I could did up Disney DVDs if I tried hard enough (I did manage to find an extremely rare Disney DVD show from the 60's my wife wanted for Christmas)....and I'm sure I know people who I could burn them from....you're all hyped up like a silly Boomer stockpiling beans because of Y2K.

I tried to buy it on Ebay years ago - it was way out of my price range.
Account abandoned.
