Well, it’s better than SJW-in-space.

All those criticisms of Trek being socialist propaganda - Discovery actually IS that. And it’s not fun to watch.
SJWs are a natural consequence of corporatism.

All Star Trek is SJW propaganda, hell even DS9 is included in that, but Discovery through 3 episodes is less of an offender than most. You watched half of a two-parter, and that episode took place on a star ship that isn't the Discovery. There are some indications that they could go full on SJW and become the worst Star Trek of all time, yet there is potential for it to be the best Star Trek series since DS9. I think the show is more likely to fall apart than it is become top end Star Trek, but it hasn't fallen apart yet, and if anything the show is handing SJWs their ass so far and they are going a little darker, at least through three episodes.

Do y'all get CraveTV in the US? It's on there, every Monday after they air on the Sunday. Costs as much as Netflix, way better for TV, got lots of old HBO shows on there and shit. If so just get CraveTV, there is a subscription that is worth it, plus the first month is free.

There is also other ways, you guys act like like you didn't grow up with the internet and can't watch it for free right now. Anti-piracy virtue signaling faggots for the fail, the lack of resourcefulness of folks on this forum is staggering. CBS they are the real pirates, trying to charge out the ass for a service no one wants, fuck them and the horse they rode in, no need to feel guilty about it at all.

Oh I could get it if I want it. Probably the whole season. I’m just not that interested at the moment.

Fair enough, better shows on TV anyway. Scifi is a shallow ass TV genre.

:naughty:
One of these things is clearly infinitely better than the other.

Also, be more resourceful when it comes to finding a way to watch the show, there are ways, don't front like there isn't.

You don't have to wait for Netflix, you choose to,
it's better to just ask yourself, what would Sweden do?

I like The Orville is like watching a true Star Trek show and many other Trekkies would agree as well. The critics may not like it but Trekkies do because it actually feels like Star Trek.
Shit... you’re right. The Orville is actually a good Trek show. I expected a lot of 4th-wall-breaking, like family guy, but other than the way they speak, it’s Trek.

EDIT: Also, just realized that the robot is voiced by the Doctor from Voyager.
Nah, the robot (Issac) isn't voiced by Robert Picardo but by this guy:
Mark Jackson as Isaac, the Orville's Science and Engineering Officer. A member of the artificial, non-biological race from Kaylon-1 that views biological lifeforms, including humans, as inferior. Isaac tells Mercer in the pilot that the Union's Admiralty offered a posting to any Kaylon willing to accept it, as an attempt to initiate relations between the two powers. Isaac accepted the offer because he saw it as a way to study human behavior. During the course of his time with the crew, he comes to observe and understand aspects of human behavior, such as sarcasm and slang.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Orvil ... characters

Now, I do think he does a really good job but I always thought that he was channeling Brent Spiner and not Robert Picardo.

Dude, that was Star Trek. THey are not going to have the main character talking about how a certain group was the result of the fall of Western Civilization.
