When it comes to Jeff Sessions, even Trump is like:Trump’s bombshell interview with the New York Times: “President Trump said on Wednesday that he never would have appointed Attorney General Jeff Sessions had he known Mr. Sessions would recuse himself from overseeing the Russia investigation that has dogged his presidency, calling the decision “very unfair to the president.” In a remarkable public break with one of his earliest political supporters, Mr. Trump complained that Mr. Sessions’s decision ultimately led to the appointment of a special counsel that should not have happened. “Sessions should have never recused himself, and if he was going to recuse himself, he should have told me before he took the job and I would have picked somebody else,” Mr. Trump said.”

I wonder which chapter of Art of the Deal details how throwing the people you hired under the bus is the mark of a quality leader.
Is this someone imploding at a job they aren't qualified for, or just another D added to his chess game? I can't even tell anymore.

He didn't fire Comey out of the blue either. He dropped hints that he wasn't happy, and then waited for Comey to give him a reason. Sort of reminiscent of Clovis and the vase.Hanarchy Montanarchy wrote:I wonder which chapter of Art of the Deal details how throwing the people you hired under the bus is the mark of a quality leader.

I haven't taken any mushrooms or LSD for over a decade, I think you can damage your mental health if you take them over a long period. I miss the laughing fits but not the come downs.
LSD is the only drug I really miss.
I think psilocybin and mescaline are overrated, personally.
Never done Mescaline. Did shrooms and acid in college. They were fun, but I remember having this weird physical sensation that sort of felt like a combo of nausea and soreness. It lasted into the next day. I remember that sensation, as much as the visuals. That's what movies always fuck up. They make it seem like everything is normal and you are just seeing weird stuff almost like you could forget you took a drug, when in reality your body feels fucking weird, and you know exactly whats going on. Movies always exaggerate the visuals too. I don't think I've ever seen anything that wasn't there honestly. Joe Rogan and erowid told me it would make me more creative and fulfilled and become a better person and more in touch with the universe. I was pretty bummed out when none of that happened.

Shrooms aren't very high on the psychedelic scale. I've only done real good acid once and it was enough to cause psychedelic patterns and colors. P cool stuff.

I remember spending a long time looking at a popcorn ceiling and the dots on it would move around like ants, and I could kind of squint my eyes and form them into letters that weren't quite legible. lol I spent a long time doing that. Those persian style rugs look cool too. All the patterns were dancing and whatnot. The other thing I remember was the light cover on the ceiling fan was wobbling in and out like clay on one of those pottery wheels. But on tv they always make it like you hallucinate a dead relative or Jesus talking to you or you get transported somewhere totally different. I never experienced anything like that. Its basically false advertising.TheReal_ND wrote:Shrooms aren't very high on the psychedelic scale. I've only done real good acid once and it was enough to cause psychedelic patterns and colors. Nuke: Did you drink when you were tripping? Thats the weird thing about acid. It goes really well with beer. I drank eight or nine beers over the course of it, and you could drink them like it was nothing. It worked out perfectly towards the end because that shit keeps your brain turned on at full volume hours after you want to sleep, and the beer kind of helps you get tired.

Beer is fine with shrooms. Not advisable with good LSD and certainly never liquor in either case. I made the mistake of drinking liquor while tripping and wound up in a hole for about five or six hours. Same goes for X.

Civil forfeiture is LEGALLLLL armed robbery.
You know, the kind of thing that would have seen a perp summarily hung (hanged?) for about 4 generations ago; and is still highly frowned upon if you aren't wearing a tin star today.
But if you are wearing that tin star, you can take whatever the fuck you want, anytime you want. Just be sure to check some substantial portion of it into the evidence room when you get a chance.

No job too small. That's asset forfeiture for you. But small jobs are the safest jobs when it comes to the government keeping someone else's property. Keeping the seizures small makes it less likely they'll be challenged by those whose property was taken.
The year-end totals may look impressive, but behind those totals are lots and lots of tiny cash grabs. In the cases where agencies' forfeitures have been itemized and examined (which is a rarity -- there's a ton of opacity in forfeiture reporting), the largest number of forfeitures are for the smallest amounts, usually well under $1,000.
Officers take what they can because they can. A video going viral on Twitter shows a California police officer rummaging through the wallet of an unlicensed street vendor and taking the vendor's cash and debit card. A citation and a shutdown of the hot dog stand should have been enough. But it wasn't. Officer Sean Aranas decided -- with the only citation handed out during the football game -- to take the man's earnings.

We are becoming more and more like the third world.
This is the type of shit you would see in the Middle East on deployment back in the 1990s. Cops shaking street vendors down and taking money from people.
