Mark Thatcher was a hero. Teodoro Obiang Nguema has the most brutal regime in Africa. Equatorial Guinea is a pretty hellish country. Just because Mann and Thatcher wanted to give it the Forsythe treatment doesn't mean they are bad dudes. They were liberating those Africans. I heard they were even bringing bibles to help the civilizing process. No good deed goes unpunished. Well, at least the brutal dictator still gets to tyrannize that oil rich speck on the map and have tea with the queen. Whatevs. Would have been cool to see some good actually done in this world.

Action porn. Kid (21) enjoyed it but I would have rather ate the 10 dollar entry fee. But I fault my inability to suspend reality, even a tiny bit, for the last 10+ years. I usually take a heavy sweatshirt or a pillow hoping for an empty theater, so I can fall asleep across three empty chairs, during these sorts of "blockbusters."

It was most likely the last movie that I will see in a theater for my foreseeable future. Fuck em all. "You two go." The money spent is a waste from my point of view.

Unbelievable action porn is what I classify this movie as.
