Theoretically, each individual state has its own culture, and the sum of all those cultures is the American culture, to wit, is the culture in New York the same as the culture in South Carolina? Never was.

The conflict now, is really that there is a postmodern global monoculture, which for the most part urban America has completely embraced, but which outside of urban America, there are still pockets of Americans trying to cling to their distinctive culture and heritage in the face of imposed internationalism. I mean, duh.

Disagree. All we have to do to recognize our common culture is to travel outside the country together. Many of us also move back and forth easily between cultures as well.

There's plenty of urbanized liberal Americans living here in Canada, and they are totally indistinguishable from urbanized liberal Canadians, they're exaclty the same, to find anything distinctively American in terms of culture now, you have to go out of the American cities, into what urbanized Americans refer to as Fly Over Country.

Here's the sad truth the left refuses to acknowledge: We have spent the past two years watching them savagely beat, torture, and otherwise assault innocent Americans for exercising their fundamental rights of free speech and assembly. We have seen people dragged out of their vehicles and brutalized. We have seen people kidnapped, tortured, and their torture livestreamed to Facebook. We have seen people chased down in airports and beaten into comas because they dared to wear a Trump hat. We have seen women smashed in the face with clubs for wearing that hat. We have seen the very same group of leftist terrorist that this driver ran over mob up and brutally attack Americans again and again.

Well, the consequences of their decisions to do these things is that, whenever they mob up with deadly weapons and attack somebody's vehicle, that person has a reasonable belief that his life is serious danger. He has a self-defense right to get the fuck out of that situation, and if Antifa is standing in the way (while they continue to attack him), then fuck them, I am not shedding a tear that they got run over, and I sure as shit won't convict another American of the "crime" of not wanting to get beaten to death by these people.

I realize that the left is all about blaming everybody else for the consequences of their poor decisions, but honestly, these are the consequences of your poor decisions. When you decide to arm yourselves with deadly weapons to attack people who lawfully assemble in a protest, proceed to block traffic and then attack people, then the outcome of that situation, whatever it may be, is a consequence of YOUR decision-making and YOU are responsible for it. Nobody else.

I am not sure if people in the Yankee areas of the continent really understand what they are doing. There really is a vague sense of nationhood in the south, something that doesn't exist anywhere else I have ever seen except for reservations and a bit in the predominantly hispanic regions in the El Norte region along our border.

By trying to exterminate southern culture, you are awakening that sense of belonging to a people in a lot of us. I mean.. fuck.. I had that shit driven out of me by being forced to go to government schools where my accent was taken from me, and I was indoctrinated in the pro-republic narrative. I then had this civic nationalism creed jammed into my skull by the military. Then I damned near lost all of my connection to the south by going to college in Chicago of all places. But I can definitely feel it now. The more I see this shit, the more obvious it becomes.

Even where I live now, there exists a pretty solid population of colonizers in the nearby city of Asheville. Lots of them are my friends. But they keep talking shit about how this or that has to go, and these people over here are just scumbags when those are the actual southerners who have accommodated them.

Then I see straight-up non-neutered southerners around me getting pretty fired up. The rebel flag is EVERYWHERE now. Those poor progressives are totally surrounded in Asheville. If they drive just five miles out, they are greeted by the actual southerners and the rebel flag. That fucking flag is everywhere. On vehicles. On lawns. Fucking flying high.
