Here's the problem the holdout crowd has: They've been whipped into this frenzy where simply refusing the vaccine on moral grounds is no longer sufficient. Rational people would be content saying something like "Hey, it's only approved for emergency use, I trust my immune system, COVID isn't that dangerous to me, so I'm not interested".

Hard to argue with that, right? No outlandish claims. No hysteria. No conspiracy peddling. Just simple, straight forward reasoning.

However, times being what they are, the holdouts simply can't stick to a rational justification. Nope. People who are vaccinated must be demonized, and wild conspiracies must be a continuous part of the narrative. Not only are holdouts not getting the jab, but everyone who is getting it is dying (except they aren't). Or everyone who is getting it is more susceptible to COVID (except they aren't). Or everyone who is getting it is a mindless drone who should've taken whatever alternative drug is hot in their news feeds this week. And, of course, everyone who is vaccinated is fundamentally a dumb sheep and part of the NWO.

And then they sit back like "How dare rational people call us a bunch of kooks".
Never considering that they could simply hold their position, minus the kookiness.
They have a valid position.
But they're simply not smart enough to stick with it.
Always gotta go extra, turn the conspiracy dial to ten, make blatantly false statements and wonder why they aren't taken seriously.

My response has always been, it's too new and I don't want to take a risk. My wife and I are trying to have another child and right now she knows too many people who have had the shot in general that have had issues with their cycles, and other instances.

I know one person that is 30 is now dealing with symptoms of heart failure, and another with lung damage...

I can't afford to take it with those side effects, my mother's side both my Papa and his brother both died of congestive heart failure, and my father's side both had lung issues from smoking... I don't need to take the chance of either issue happening to me... so fuck it, until they have a vaccine that has a record of minimal and less severe side effects, I can't take it.

You are referring to the CDC study that stated 95% of cases from unvaccinated.
OK, but how did they come to that number ?

-To achieve that statistic, the CDC included hospitalization and mortality data from January through June. The vast majority of the U.S. population was unvaccinated during that timeframe.

-By Jan. 1 only 0.5% of the U.S. population had received a COVID shot. By mid-April, an estimated 31% had received one or more shots and as of June 15, 48.7% were fully “vaccinated.”

-In addition, the CDC only counts you as Vaccinated 15 days after you've had both doses.

- So, those receiving an initial dose in June, for example, won’t be “fully vaccinated” until eight weeks later, sometime in July or August.

-The study counted very few fully vaccinated persons

I live a normal life, I do pretty much what I want. Some stores the employees have masks on, otherwise you wouldn't have even known COVID happened for the most part.
