 Plus, Fife and Bjorn didn't vote - so it's more like 34.

de officiis would make a much better moderator than Kath, someone knows why selective enforcement of arbitrary rules based on the feelz of the moderator makes you a shitty moderator on this forum, and I would trust de officiis not abuse the powers bestowed, unlike Kath. Kath moderates based on emotion, and de officiis would moderate based on rational criteria that would be consistently enforced, it would be a very clear upgrade.

Some of y'all would rather settle for a censorship cunt instead though, whatever. Somehow censoring people she doesn't like and threatening to censor those who post off-topic in threads she likes isn't enough to warrant some people thinking she shouldn't move forward as moderator. Perhaps they misinterpret voting no as them telling Martin Hash how he should run his forum, but that has nothing to do with the poll, so if you voted yes just because you think Martin Hash should make the call as opposed to the those voting in the poll, then change your vote to no, because you clearly misread the question. It's not like we don't have better alternatives for moderator than Kath, if that is what you are worried about either.

He'd also not censor people for shit he does all the time and then argue "it's different" when he and his friends do it..

They just misread the question and think that voting no is somehow telling Hash how to run the forum, when voting no means nothing of the sort. That's your saving grace in this poll.

I saw a bunch of idiots posting about how this is private forum and it's Hash's call, like it even needed to be said, so I figure many of these folks voted yes based on the butthurt that voting no was somehow taking the decision out of Hash's hands and it should be put to a popular vote.

Quite a stretch, right?

So your claim is that everyone who voted no understood the question and everyone who voted yes misunderstood the question?

Not everyone, just a few swing voters who voted yes. It's also possible that some of those who voted no don't think it should be up to Hash, but I digress. The point is if you voted yes, and it was just because you think it should be Martin Hash's call as opposed to the voters in the poll, that doesn't mean you should have voted yes, because that has noting to do with the vote at all.
