Crappy beat up old 1911's will probably go for a grand, which is too much. The good ones will go for much more, and the true WWII models in good shape will likely go for several thousand. US DOD weapons are over priced in this market right now. It's a supply and demand thing, combined with the general resurgence of firearms popularity in the US at this time.

Your looking around $1000. The age varies. The Official military ones you'll see through CMP are all WWII vintage weapons. I don't believe the US military purchased them after 45 or 46. BUT, they did modify their existing stocks of Millions over the years. Most the Korean ones for instance were select fire Full Auto/Semi. The Carbine's use in Vietnam were primarily by South Vietnamize I believe, though Spec Ops used them too.
