Just curious but according to Goering he was being tortured by the MP's. Heard anything about that?

I've never heard this, I will see him over the holidays and I will ask him about it if the chance arises.

I know he fucking hated Goering, he thought he was the most arrogant man he had ever met. Said that Goering was offended at having to stand trial, felt they did nothing wrong, etc. He was a real as to most Americans.

Some, not enough. I didn't know he was at the Nuremburg Trials until about 15 years ago. I asked him about Goering poisoning himself. He said, "I was just Damn glad I wasn't on duty that day ! "
He did tell me he's positive who gave Goering the poison.

Yeah, it was the American Officer, a Lieutenant from Texas I think. He said both were hunters and had long conversations about hunting and basically became friends. Goering had a ton of personal belongings locked up at the prison. My uncle said the LT, who had access to this stuff was given many items by Goering, watch, guns, stuff like that. The LT would retrieve items and take them to the Field Marshall. The poison was in one of them. He guessed the pocket watch.

From what he told me, the Army puckered up tighter than hell. They were completely embarrassed about it and didn't even seriously investigate it, they just wanted the incident behind them. But at the moment it was happening, he said all hell broke loose. The Army brass were PISSED.

So nothing happened to the Lt then? Is it known whether he regretted his actions or did he want to help because of the friendship they had built?
