Worryingly, the girl who cleans for mum and her fella once a week suspects she might have it. Not going around any more but who knows if she already gave it to them. Fingers crossed that they are OK.

Went around to mum's today to pick up a cheque. She has just come into some money as a result of an investment maturing so she gave me and my sister £500 each to help us get through these difficult times.
First time I'd seen her in a month, from a safe distance obviously. Anyway, turns out they did take my advice to stop having the cleaner go around despite resisting when I suggested it. This means they haven't been put at risk of infection by letting her into the house. They are practicing strict prevention measures, leaving the house only to walk the dog and disinfecting all the shopping my sister takes around for them.
It's a weight off my mind.
