TC, stop the golem act. You have no idea what you are talking about. There exist zero restraints on the judiciary. The judiciary was not conceived as a co-equal to the legislative branch. It wasn't supposed to be the arbiter of the Constitution even at the state level. They just keep claiming power because the Constitution is a fucking joke that was designed to create this leviathan.
Tell me when does the judicial branch have the right to change the constiution?
Nope, not duh... because that is exactly what happened under this.

All they have to do, TC, is redefine a fucking word to mean something else. That's what they do all the time. Hello? Earth to TC.
Show me judicial ruling showing that.

They used an amendment designed to abolish slavery as a basis for forcing sodomite marriage upon our people. For fuck sake. They don't have any restraint. One wonders why for over 100 years nobody realized that this amendment passed in the wake of the Civil War allows two dudes to get married. Out of the blue, a few unelected judges just decided it because they changed the meaning of the word matrimony and PRESTO they in effect changed the Constitution.

He does get it. He just clings to a shitty position even when he realizes he was wrong, like Golem clinging to the ring on the way down to the bottom of Mount Doom.

This is the danger of sophistry. You can actually change the Constitution in effect to mean whatever the fuck you want as long as you strategically redefine a few words. This is why men like Aristotle and Plato identified sophists as the number one internal enemy to civilization.
Anything on the liberal/neo-liberal agenda can be pushed through in this way. That's what the Enlightenment is. It's just sophistry run amok.

Former Michigan state representative Rashida Tlaib, a progressive Democrat, won her state’s primary in its 13th Congressional District Tuesday, leading her to likely become the first Muslim woman — and the first Palestinian-American — to hold national office.

I’ve heard rumors she holds ties to some terrorist groups... but meh.. I think that should be a given with the Democrat party today.

Honestly, she's a step up from John Conyers anyway.
edit:
Conyers was at least a combat veteran, though, so maybe no.
