im Haslett, the former New Orleans Saints coach who played for the Steelers from 1979-87, said last year that he used steroids when he was with Pittsburgh and that steroid use was rampant among NFL players and his teammates. Medical studies have found a link between steroid abuse and heart disease. Peter Furness told the Providence Journal last year that he suspects his brother, Steve Furness, a former Steelers defensive tackle (1972-81), used steroids, though they never talked about it. "Every time I see an article in the paper or hear that a player dies or gets sick, it's devastating," Peter Furness told the Journal. "Fifteen years ago, people were clamoring to get their autographs. Now, some of them won't come out of the house. They have bad knees and bad backs. A whole host of guys on a team sacrifice their bodies and end up the next 40 years with a disability. A lot of guys took cortisone shots and other things to protect them in the game.

Oh, so Brady missing how many games wasn't hard? A fine and a loss of two picks weren't harsh? That penalty had never been given to anyone like that before, even for your team which was caught doing the same thing? Know what, you are just full of sour grapes..Penner wrote:The Conservative wrote:Penner wrote:

You guys are the cheaters that everyone hates because no one comes down hard on you AND you guys keep on cheating- year after fucking year. That is why. Maybe fire Bellicheck and get rid of Brady then maybe we can talk.
Any other sport, the championship is revoked. You got a 2-year media drama, and a benched QB for a couple of games. Pathetic. The Conservative wrote:Oh, so Brady missing how many games wasn't hard? The Seahawks have long led the league in PED suspensions. Here’s a list of some recent bans for the use of banned substances.
John Moffitt: Suspended four games in 2011
Brandon Browner (now with the Patriots): Suspended four games in 2012
Winston Guy: Suspended four games in 2012
Allen Barbre: Suspended four games in 2012
Bruce Irvin: Suspended four games in 2013
Richard Sherman: Tested positive in 2012. Result overturned due to a problem with the collection procedure.
Trust me, his team has done a lot worse in comparison to the Pats... and they still have their championships.GrumpyCatFace wrote:Any other sport, the championship is revoked.
