I won't pretend those decisions are easy....gotta say the prepper with aqua wall is looking the smartest.
It's a great question, when do you bug out. How do you decide

I am dealing with this from a high school friend right now. She wants to know if she can crash here, and I am trying to explain to her it's probably too late and she needs to head inland and find a storm shelter there.
It's kind of crazy. She grew up there too. There are really only two major ways out of the state, and a few US routes that are going to probably fill up at the last minute too.
Google maps shows the turnpike as one giant red stripe cutting across the state. I-95 from Daytona to Georgia is starting to lock up too.
Why don't these people leave earlier!?
They can die in a fire, then.

On a serious note, my mom and cousin are staying. Really need this thing to calm down tomorrow.

My friend just informed me they decided to stay in their beach-front condo in Daytona. Fuck it. I am not her dad or her boyfriend. Fucking have fun, I guess.

They said they think they will be safe because they are on the third floor and the windows are rated for 140 mph.
Seems crazy to me.

140 is not enough. Should be a wild ride.Speaker to Animals wrote:GrumpyCatFace wrote:Jesus.. hope they're on a high floor..Speaker to Animals wrote:

If it's a pretty new building, then they've got a decent chance tho.

Seems reckless to me. I'd just pack up some clothes, cards, and maybe my old dungeons and dragons books and head to the shelter on the other side of I-95, personally.GrumpyCatFace wrote:140 is not enough. Should be a wild ride.Speaker to Animals wrote:GrumpyCatFace wrote:

Against the Giants and Temple of Elemental Evil should about cover the hurricane.
