There are some similarities, but skankhunt not as good a writer as DB is and he's doesn't go on the hilarious and insightful rants that were DB's signature. That's kind of a dead giveaway that it isn't him. Also he prefers to use more outrageous and troll-like sock puppets when he indulged in that practice in the past, a similar but less outrageous version of himself wouldn't be near as fun to play as some of his past sock puppets. You should downgrade how certain you are that it's DBTrek in light of that.

If DB was going to be a sock puppet at this point, then he'd try to upstage skengmen or some shit. He'd want to go for the most outrageous sock puppet the DCF/MHF has ever seen no doubt, go big or go home.

Well, pale imitation is possible and the DBTrek account is active, I check it occasionally and it has usually been active within the last 24hrs. It says last active at 6.26pm yesterday (GMT) currently.
Maybe he is just waiting for the return of DrTrech before he commits.
