This is ALL about gynocentrism. We are in a moment of unprecedented rape hoaxes perpetrated by dishonest women while an endless train of female teachers walk with minimal sentencing for raping boys, but all we hear about is how rough women have it and how we must believe every allegation women make regardless of the lack of credibility and evidence (which is real sexism).

Demanding we all cater even more to the demands of women is exactly what gynocentrism means. It doesn't even occur to you that men have it pretty bad too, worse when you consider the apathy society has for their suffering, and the reality that they can easily be punished for their own rape by coming forward. It's not about you. We all suffer from sexual predators, and your sisters do it just as much.

You don't seem to understand that anthrocentrism has been the way of the world for basically all of recorded history in most cultures. What looks to you like gynocentrism is literally just evening those scales, which I admit has sometimes (but not very often) been imperfect in that men have gotten the short end of the stick in SOME areas (certainly not all and there is not full equality yet for women either, we're still short of that as Hayak's essay really nicely explains). For example, the issues with family courts. And I do realize that men have it pretty bad, I don't see patriarchy as something that only harms women and benefits men, I think it harms both. The reason they were all set up that way, and why so many judges have favored moms, was because society was set up to see mothering and caregiving as basically 100% women's work. It really is getting better now, literally all the people I know who have kids around the same age as mine and are divorced have 50-50% custody arrangements, so it's not like you can't correct this stuff to be more equal after the needle swings a little bit too far in some areas.

We have heard literally hundreds and hundreds of accusations in the past few months against powerful men from women AND men, you know that, right? THERE ARE MEN in the accusers and victims column, they're just all accusing other men. I'm not aware of any yet made against a powerful woman, but if that happens, those accusers should be listened to as well. (And if you think I or most othe rwomen are hip to female teachers raping boys, that's totally off base. OF COURSE those women should be prosecuted. By the way, I'm not on the "automatically believe all accusers" side - I do think they should be given the benefit of the doubt though and their claims evaluated for credibility on a case by case basis. Many of them are totally credible to me lately because 1) many are corroborated by others or 2) show a clear pattern of bad behavior. I've also seen stuff in my life that makes me understand that many women really do have to deal with these sexual landmines in the workplace and garbage men who use their positions of power in these gross ways. There are several women who claimed he did EXACTLY that to them, and they absolutely did not want him to be grabbing them and kissing them. That's assault.
