Most of the Haida I met were nothing like this guy. They were almost all decent people.
Not that I met loads of them... but a few... on the airplane, at breakfast, on the tours....
They hang out at the cultural sites as "watchmen" and give tours.
These sites are way out there - we went by zodiac - it took four days to see 5 of them.
Lots of cool wildlife along the way.
Totally worth it.
