Even the Iranians were able to GPS spoof the most advanced stealth drone into the fucking dirt, dude.
If it came to that, I am sure there would be great casualties, but I don't think the federal government would win. If anything, half the military would turn against them. At least half.
If somebody ordered you to launch hellfire missiles into a crowd of farmers who don't want their land stolen by a banana republic democrat government, would you have done it? I wouldn't. Not any airmen I knew would do it, and sure as shit not any of the officers.
Property taxes aren't federal taxes. When property taxes aren't paid, your local county and/or city impress a lien on the title, then eventually sell it at auction at the courthouse. Whoever buys up the land is obligated to evict you, not the USAF. Zlaxer is cracking wise about the drones, I reckon.
You don't pay state prop tax - town calls governor who calls Air Guard who calls in drones....it's really semantics to say the USAF wouldn't get involved... the 10th amendment is dead Fife...
How do your property taxes work up there? Is it a state tax, or county/city?
The Governor nor the USAF GAF about your land; they don't want the land. They just want some fee simple owner who will obediently hand over the taxes on time. If you don't pay, they'll transfer your title for the amount of back taxes to some slave who will.

Or some large corporation and/or .01%er will scoop it up just for the sake of owning it...land rarely becomes worthless....If we agree that the republic is failing....and that corporations are to be the new feudal houses....and if the government at all levels is now simply to tool of corporations, then it seems like our new lords will seek to acquire as much land as possible...you know, to keep the proles from ruining it n shit....
But hey, who knows....maybe federalism will be revived somehow...
If folks ever wondered what people at the apex of human achievement worried about, there it is - drone enforced land taxation for the benefit of corporations.

So it's completely out of the realm of possibility for the next 50 years in your opinion? What do you think will stop the march of corporate power?
If the limits we’re working within is “possibility”, then anything is possible.
Seattle City Council seems to have the perfect solution for stopping “the march of corporate power”, if you’ve been following the thread. It’s called “plunder their profits to fund your political ambitions and line the pockets of yourself and your cronies”.
It’s a fairly popular “solution” prevalent in much of the third world, where corporations are either absent or running towards escape helicopters for their lives.

Definately one of the parts of this story I can't fathom.
How king county is doesn't have money running out of their ears from all the new property tax is astounding to me.
Oh, by the way, when Seattle voters passed a (yet another) levy in 2015 for 50 miles of bike lanes ... well, you all are getting 25 Miles. Sorry. We underestimated the costs of construction. The new cost is $12million per mile of bike lane. We’ve altered the deal. Pray we do not alter it further.
