I conceive of the patriarchy as a competence hierarchy. Social power has an inner and outer circle. The outer circle is most politics, business, industry, research, defense, etc. That is all supposed to be a competence hierarchy.

Inner circle is all the soft power and everyday decisions made in homes, relationships, etc. It's harder to verbally qualify and illustrate, but it's actually the greater power. Women dominate that and have dominated it for all history.

I don't have too many qualms with women entering outer circle domains as long as they stop fucking with the competency hierarchy. It would be nice if they shared inner circle power too in order that it evens out.

You've laid out why the patriarchy must be destroyed: they're hoarding the good stuff for themselves regardless of female competency. Inner circle isn't power, it's a cage. Free us apand our society will be greater for it when the best are truly allowed to rise to the top.
