That doesn't help, that just throws them in the deep end before they learn how to swim, which if it doesn't drown them, shatters their confidence and makes them more likely to quit because it's too hard. It might get them an entry level position, but because of the perception that they only got it because of their race, they don't move up as quickly as they otherwise would because they are an affirmative action case, it even hurts the people of the race who would have earned their position without affirmative action because they get mistaken for an affirmative action case. It does not help, it holds them back.
