WAiting to the last minute to buy a gun due to your biases is foolish. Few expect things to get to the point they need a gun until it is too late.

Ok, so a chunk of people own more than one gun. So what? My father had 4 and his Class A permit in Mass. He had the option to carry; never felt the need to use it. Some people may collect them, some people may need different guns for hunting.
