But the tragedy that took place in Charlottesville this month could not have occurred without the tacit acceptance of millions of ordinary, law-abiding Americans who helped create such a racially explosive climate, some activists, historians and victims of extremism say.

Actually, 89.7 WGBH. But yeah, there is another 88.5 or "DERP" as we call it here, but since I live so close to Lowell, it is hijacked by an illegal radio station that plays Hispanic music 24/7.

I listen to 89.7 (or the BBC) when I'm not at work because I don't need to get pissed off... they use terms and terminology that they personally know is incorrect, but are "key words" that the left use to make things "feel good" when in reality it is just proof that their dumbing down is working, because no one questions when they are talking about things like "immigrants" if they mean illegals or legal ones... and they normally don't tell you till 2/3 through the story.

So for me, I spend my time writing, instead of listening to the brainwash drivel... especially since they spoon feed you their side of the story and make all other sides seem evil.

As for antifa.... I remember a time years back when no one the DCF knew what antifa even was. The way things are getting reported, it sounds like a word they just discovered, and like a label anyone can get slapped on. As if "antifa" simply means anyone who is anti-"fascist", which can mean simply conservative.

There was the one thread Kath had on the DCF that got three pages in before she deleted everything and left a message as the first post of something like "This went wrong. I'm done with it." Anyways, anyone remember what ticked her off?

Disagree. That it sucks, is incompetent, biased and sensationalist and is more about validating beliefs than challenging them, isn't an argument for not having it. It's an argument for having, or creating, something better as an alternative.

Yeah, can't go wrong with giving government the mandate to ban media that paint government unflatteringly. It's your job as a citizen and an adult to determine if you want to believe in shit-quality news. Government should not ban voices that are critical, no matter how batshit crazy and irrational and "disruptive" the criticism is. I believe that's what the first of your amendments was about...?

I ever only called antifa irrelevant in regards to how they're like in MY country. They've been active here for decades. Both antifa here are different (here they're black bloc anarchists, in the US they're SJW progressives), and the mainstream media coverage of antifa here is nowhere near as positive in the mainstream media of them in US media. They're irrelevant here because they have no power and no one in power that gives a shit about them.

F#ck CNN. I'm sick of this trend to try and make people feel guilty about everything they don't actively fight every day. I have a full time job and a family that takes up most of my waking hours. Don't call me a "white supremacist by default" because I'm taking care of my family instead of holding signs and chanting in a crowd for hours. I do no know any neo-Nazis, and I'm not going to interrogate every one of my neighbors to find out if any of them are secretly one. I don't encounter them in my life. If I did, I would not be their drinking buddy or help them out with their racist agendas.

Maybe the people writing this garbage should spend their time ferreting out the Muslim extremists. According to their logic, they are terrorists by default because they are bystanders to that. One more, F#ck CNN.
