Personally I'd rather be in rehab, but involuntary means the possibility of jail time anyway. People get sent to rehab, fail and then go to jail all the time.

incarceration costs a shit load of money as well. So why not provide rehab instead? You're still getting them off the streets and I guarantee you that more lives would be saved if we went that route vs the incarceration method which does not work and only makes stake holders of private prisons a shit load of cash.
