Maybe. He terms himself Classical Liberal, but he definitely feels the disconnect with most Dems.

How would you go about getting interviewed?

Yeah, I really think he'd like your definition of Liberalist

He's my favorite pundit right now. Sorry Dan

You have to have a message.
You have to make us care.

You're a smart guy with an impressive resume, but surely you got those degrees for something larger than invoking an appeal to authority for message board arguments, right?

So why did you get all those degrees? What are you after? What makes you want to know all the things you know and why should we care about it?
Refine that message.
Hit the people with something they can relate to.
Take that refined vision out to where people are listening.
Build a following.

It's not easy.

My personal feeling is that fame, like everything, is part of the Lucktocracy, and I just haven't been lucky yet. Luck is affected by how many lottery tickets you buy: in the context of this forum, that means every time someone says, "I know this guy...," the odds of famehood click imperceptibly higher.

From the self-awareness angle, I know why I'm seeking fame; because in a status-conscious society, you can't do anything substantial without it, a chicken before the egg problem.

p.s. I refine my evolving ideological positions through debate in this forum, it seems reasonable that same strategy would work with fame?
