That would be a lot easier to swallow if he hadn't of voted against Gorsuch: that's pure partisanship. Maybe you should be looking at the 4 Dems who DID vote for Gorsuch.

I'm not saying that we shouldn't cross party lines. You say this Cory Booker guy is a moderate. I refute that claim based on his voting record, which shows he consistently votes with his party. He votes for bills that serve to increase or extend government reliance, in opposition to what he says about himself.

When the Dems come out with some good legislation, I'll support it. Thus far, they have not.

Maybe I should.
When are they going on the Tim Ferriss or PRay Tell Dr. Hash podcast?

There's been tons of healthcare legislation, mostly around Medicare but crosses over into Obamacare too. All pretty good, mostly sponsored by Dems. Just given time, going on what's happened so far, Obamacare could eventually work, ESPECIALLY if Medicare is ever made an option.

My experience with the ACA has been negative. I'm paying more than I did prior to it becoming law. Is this just the warming up period?

It's still pretty fucked. We got the Middle Class paying too much of the cost for The Poor to get insurance. The Rich need to be gouged more.

Well, on the plus side Cory Booker is angling himself for a 2020 presidential run. So, maybe clubGOP will have a chance to vote for him afterall.

Not me though.
The "no fly, no buy" 2nd amendment stuff is a deal breaker.

Cory did a political ad 6 or 8 years ago where he was kind of casually sitting on a sculpture, wearing a great suit, talking sincerely about something. He was thinner, better-looking & Blacker back then. I was impressed: next Obama & all that. I followed him for awhile but no family, questionable business acumen, owned by Big Pharma, I turned off. Best of a bad lot though.
