It has 4798 URLs archived as of this writing, which if a paltry fraction of actual pages, considering the DCF has 35936 topics.

Ok, thanks everyone for the clarification. I thought it was a full backup as of mid-November. It shows the actual archive dates and let's you choose. I didn't realize it was a sampling. I had searched for a couple of my own historic posts and found them both.katarn wrote:It has 4798 URLs archived as of this writing, which if a paltry fraction of actual pages, considering the DCF has 35936 topics.

It's a board config setting... not customizable by users.

Re: Pros and Cons of this forum.
The layout and options are all up for discussion. Someone suggested 15 per page, Martin asked me to change it, I changed it. If you want to make a case for lower / higher per page... holler it out.StCapps wrote:Damn that's a handy tool to have. You changed it? I'm only seeing 10 posts a page, not 15. Maybe you are seeing the changes, I'm not.Kath wrote:Someone suggested 15 per page, Martin asked me to change it, I changed it. If you want to make a case for lower / higher per page... holler it out.

Re: Pros and Cons of this forum.
You're right, Capps. Someone changed it back. Martin asked me to change it, though.
I'm not going to touch it - this isn't my forum. If Hash or the other guy with super admin privileges changed it back to 10, it's not my place to re-change it.
