Re: BIG Holiday Thread
hey all, just spent a week in Hawaii visiting my girlfriend's pop, thought I'd post up some photos
The military museum in Waikiki at Fort DeRussy is pretty legit, lots of history about the strategic value of the islands up through the Vietnam war. My Grandpa was stationed in Hawaii in the late 50s/early 60s, and my mother was born there so it was extra interesting to me. I should have taken more photos of the exhibits, but I got a few shots of the main attractions out front
More info if any of you military buffs are curious: http://hiarmymuseumsoc.org/exhibits.html
Beautiful island, great weather and had barely any rain. Luckily we missed the hurricanes, one hit a week before we went and one is suppose to hit this week. Did a bunch of shit, rode bikes around the city, swam a bit, drak a bunch of Mai Tais, checked out North Shore, hiked Waimea Valley and Moana Falls, planned on doing Diamondhead too but never got around to it
Ate a bunch of great food, my girl is a foodie so she set us up pretty well with a bunch of local spots, Giovanni's garlic shrimp, some ramen, udon and poke places, Leonard's malsada shop, finished with a killer steak from Hy's steak house. She has photos of all that shit but I promise they all were great
Cheers duders!

What no castles?
What sort of a holiday is that.
What sort of a holiday is that.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.
