Looks like they are going to pair Makar with Nemeth to start, but they will move him around. He's replacing Girard as the PP2 QB.

Zaitsev was playing good until he caved there.

Bailed out by Mitch Selke on the PK.

Ovechkin beat the shit out of Svechnikov, knocked him down and everything. Ouch.

Kadri being out is resulting in more ice time for Matthews and Tavares.

Babs is going back and forth between the two top lines, not seeing Nylander much in the third here.

Andreas Johnsson is flying.

And he's taking it inside.

MVP Johnsson showed up tonight.

Good third period by the Leafs.

Played with the one goal lead, didn't cave.

Tavares beating Bergeron in the faceoff circle.

Defence was solid.

Freddie Vezina barred the door.

That's a good sign.

Leafs now 38-0-1 on the season with a lead heading into the third period, that's actually kind of insane.

The Refs are calling cheap stuff again all of a sudden.

No Hit League doesn't like violence.

That favours the Loafs.

Indeed, lack of NHL playoff reffing plays to Leafs strengths.
