I can relate to Smitty. I also feel like a cat amongst ermines. The barbarians are inside the gates. When my kids leave the nest I will move to the sticks with my wife. The urban life is a wasteland.

Looking at the former British Colonies, those that stayed in the Commonwealth are much more compliant to the central government. Now, we're not that much to brag about, but we're leagues ahead of those countries.
