Who is dying on a hill? I just pointed out an inaccuracy in the reporting. If pointing out the facts is ''peddling such a position'' then it is hard to take Breitbart seriously. It was an horrific attack worthy of the 18 year sentence but he did not lose a hand nor has he lost all use of it. Thankfully gang members do not have easy access to firearms or he would likely be dead along with his 3 workmates.

You do not know that. In fact, as Breitbart didn't mention their immigration status or whether they are Muslims you can infer that they were not.
The attack does appear to have had a racist element as the victims were thought to be immigrants.

Read what I've written. I have called it a racist attack (based on what was said at the time) and said it would be abhorrent no matter what colour the attackers were.
There is no mention anywhere of them being Middle Easterners, that's just you. Not even Breitbart has tried to suggest that.
The sensationalism is claiming the hand was cut off (it wasn't) and trying to suggest it was jihad (it isn't).
It's gang bangers attacking legal and valued immigrant workers.
The motivation was perceived disrespect after the tree surgeons intervened during a road rage incident. This is not a race war it is a criminal gang playing gangster. They probably watched too much US TV or listened to too much gangsta rap.
