Oh, the only way air-drop works, is if you are on a wi-if.
Never used it, and no interest in doing so. Why anyone would allow anything to be "dropped" onto their phone is beyond my comprehension.
It's a permissions thing, AirDrop is open unless otherwise noted. People can't see my systems unless I want them to, of course I don't connect to public internet anyway so that's never a problem.

It is Cuba, it's the Cubans who are running it, Maduro is simply a front for Havana, and the Cuban's will cling to it with white knuckles, as it is Venezuelan oil which is propping Cuba up, really would have to send in the Marines, if you wanted to break Cuba's grip on it. With Chavez there was some autonomy, but as soon Chavez went down, the Cubans rushed in and took full control. Everybody in Maduro's cotterie is Cuban DGI, his praetorian gaurd is all Cuban CTE special ops.

Historically, when did Cubans become so involved in Venezuela?

Well, the Cubans are always mooching around in Latin America seeing who they might be able to turn, but in this current dynamic, Chavez nationalized the Venezuelan oil industry, and that became the lifeline for the Cubans, who had lost the Soviet Union as their chief benefactor, Venezuelan oil money taking the place of Soviet oil money, so Chavez was their saviour, how much they had to do with installing him in the first place? I haven't looked too deeply into it, but whether they had a hand in it or not, they certainly didn't look the gift horse in the mouth, over time, as the Chavez regime became increasingly unstable, the Cubans became increasingly involved in propping it up, when Chavez got cancer, that was a potential disaster, Maduro is no Chavez, so when it fell to a much weaker successor like Maduro, the Cubans basically moved in to circle the wagons around him.

... and given the US embargo on automobiles, when the Cubans move in to "circle the wagons" they are literally circling wagons around Maduro.
