Re: Meanwhile in Ukraine
Welp…. Apparently the October surprise is getting nuked.
Putin flat out says that if Ukraine uses long range missiles, then he’s at war with nato.
God be with you.

Re: Meanwhile in Ukraine
Russia repeats the warning. Kirby downplays it. Canada repeats that they want Ukraine to shoot these things at fucking Moscow.
We are on the edge of the singularity now.

Re: Meanwhile in Ukraine
Key point: the missiles can’t be operated by Ukrainian troops. British/US troops would have to be directly involved in pulling the trigger. That’s the difference
It’s an actual NATO attack on Russia.
Brit media claims that ‘Biden’ already approved it. According to Duran podcast, the Pentagon is strongly opposed. We may get saved by the military brass?
But the Brits still hold the trigger as well with Storm Shadows.

Correct. And they likely won't be fired from Ukraine soil either.SuburbanFarmer wrote: ↑Fri Sep 13, 2024 10:28 amKey point: the missiles can’t be operated by Ukrainian troops. British/US troops would have to be directly involved in pulling the trigger. That’s the difference

Re: Meanwhile in Ukraine
Looking more like the UK PMs are on a personal mission to start WW3 - and people are noticing.
France, Germany, etc are against it. Boris and Starmer are specifically lobbying like hell against the rest of NATO, and their own ministers.
There’s a slim timeline possibility that we get out of this when the general public sees the UK PM as a screaming lunatic.
Side note: Luongo is now the foremost expert on geopolitics as far as I’m concerned.

I just don't see Western nations in a position to fight WWIII and I believe they know it. I sure hope Im right.SuburbanFarmer wrote: ↑Wed Sep 18, 2024 9:04 amLooking more like the UK PMs are on a personal mission to start WW3 - and people are noticing.

Re: Meanwhile in Ukraine
Since the start of the war, Ukraine and Russia had an agreement not to strike power generation facilities. Ukraine violated that agreement multiple times in August and September.
Russia has retaliated. Kiev residents are only getting 4 hours of power each day, this has been going on for a month. And now, Water is down in Kiev. Winter is setting in. Gonna be rough.

Re: Meanwhile in Ukraine
I’d expect haggard refugees sneaking out through the woods soon. Simply can’t afford the manpower to imprison a country with borders on all sides.
