It may not, but the last few times we saw the feds directly challenged were Bundy Ranch (feds lose but shit all over on the way out), and Jan 6th (feds win, but shit all over and imprison a bunch of people).
This is the first time in my lifetime that 2 states have openly rebelled, and Texas does not back down. This could get interesting very quickly.

I was thinking about the Bundy Ranch too. Feds couldn't complete their mission faced with small determined push back.
Apparently by Abbot declaring it an invasion, it legally allows other states to come help.
Thus far, Oklahoma, Florida, Virginia and South Dakota have pledged support to Texas.

I think the DC blob will back down. They can’t win, it won’t be just the 25 state guards, it will be a large majority of citizens as well. The blob will be outnumbered. They will work on a different angle. I suspect this cools down because they know that they can’t win this way. Hell this is probably a distraction while they are unleashing their real plan, whatever that is.
